Occupational Therapy Assessment 

Comprehensive occupational therapy assessment for a range of difficulties with functional skills impacting daily life and self-confidence. i.e. fine motor skills, gross motor skills, handwriting skills, visual motor integration, visual perception skills, sensory processing skills, self-care skills, independent living skills and attention skills.

 

Includes:

• Combination of standardized assessments, parent and teacher report measures and therapist observations, up to approx. 3hours
• Virtual or in person parent consultations
• In person fun engaging tasks as part of standardized assessment with young person.
• Assessment scored, formulated and personalised report with recommendations based on assessed need.
• Feedback session with young person and family. Additional consultation available with school as required (€95).

 

This assessment can help in the detection of standalone difficulties such as Developmental Co-ordination Disorders, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Identifying if a need is present for further assessment.

 

Occupational Therapy Screening Assessment 

Includes:

• One standardized assessment in a specific area of concern up to 1hour.
• Follow up feedback session.
• Screening letter provided.
• Examples include; sensory processing, handwriting, motor skills.
• If a need arises and it is advised to continue with a full assessment, this screening assessment price is deductible from the full assessment price.

 

Occupational Therapy Intervention

Sessions are based on pre-assessed needs with specific realistic goal(s) set, approx. 45mins

• Individual sessions – €90
• Block of four – €350
• Block of six – €520

 

Consultations

Once off, to discuss any concerns you may have with daily functional skills, get advice and recommendations. Or coaching to set goals to work on independently. Also can be used to discuss your child’s progress during assessment and intervention or any concerns you may have.

• Up to 45mins virtual or in person– €75
• Up to 15-30mins via phone – €50
• A follow up email with recommendations provided.

These sessions are available upon request as the need arises.

 

Home / School Visits

Available upon request and are priced as per distance from the clinic.

 

Therapeutic Summary / Discharge Reports €150

Includes summary of intervention to date and recommendations to maintain progress made and develop further. Available upon request.
